Wet Muni

I've enjoyed the dryness of the Muni (local SF bus) and have been on them a lot over the last few weeks. If nothing else just to keep dry as I make my way around San Francisco.

Here's some pics I've been collecting to do a little SF Muni show

From the Bleed:

Enjoy the next eight months, WSU fans -you’ll miss the days when you had TWO new Authority comics to look forward to each month.

At risk of spoiling you Authority fans further, editorial just passed me some sweet pages from The Lost Year #5 - featuring a first look at Jonathan Wayshak’s art on the book. (The top-notch coloring job was done by Allen Passalaqua.)

SUPERMAN VS. MUHAMMAD ALI

What happens when the world’s most legendary fighter enters the ring against the world’s greatest hero?

Well, if you were around in 1978 to pick up a copy of SUPERMAN VS. MUHAMMAD ALI, then you know what it was like. The historic one-shot featured the Man of Steel teaming up with The Greatest Boxer of All Time to stave off an alien invasion of Earth.

I got re recolor a version... here it is

check it out... at the DC's Source

iTablet

Dear Apple

I want an iTablet... please make one, but could you?

• Make it about 8X10

• give me the option of a pressure sensitive pen (like my wacom)
• have it run OS X or talk Adobe into porting a Photoshop 3.5ish PSD or so onto the iphone OS
• give me a USB or some type of input for card readers (I will us COMPACT FLAST FOR A WHILE YET)

the rest is pretty obvious.. give it everything that the iPhone already has. Wifi, camera, 3G etc...

ok.. I'm ready, lets say about $500-700 (depend on the photoshop thing if I would pay $700)

...ok, ready... come on

The Ill List 6

Greg Edwards asked me to do the Ill List poster graphic again this year.. and I was happy to do it. Here's my Illustration laid out by Julie Edwards.

Here's the info if your in or around Modesto CA

The ILL LIST 6: A Poetry Slam Invitational, the most prestigious and highly anticipated spoken word event in the Central Valley is back! This event will feature eight nationally renowned spoken word artists, many of whom have previously appeared on HBO's Def Poetry Jam. Through three rounds of original poetry, poets will match metaphors and battle rhyme for rhyme in their quest for $1,500 in cash prizes! Randomly selected judges from the audience, using Olympic-style scorecards, will award points to poets based on the strength of their poems and the quality of their performance. Audience members are strongly encouraged to root for their favorite poems as cuts will be made after every round. Cheering, yelling, booing, hissing, whistling, and good-natured heckling are welcome and expected. This is a free-speech event.

Admission to this world-class literary boxing match is $15 for general reserved, $22.50 for middle reserved or $30 for premium reserved seating. For more information, please visit www.slamonrye.com

Mike Giant

Working with the amazing Jeff Durkin... friend and film maker of Bread Truck films, see some of his award winning work here. I have worked with Jeff on many projects and it's always a mind expanding adventure.

Jeff is working on an Artist Documentary of two California Artists.. Mike Giant of SF and Mike Maxwell of SD. I'm collaborating with him on the photography of Mike Giant since he's in my hood.

Here are a few pics from a Saturday afternoon...
